Phengaris alcon (Alcon blue butterfly)

Do you know the alcon blue ? 🦋
It's a very peculiar and fascinating butterfly : its caterpillar is raised by ants, and the eggs are placed only on a specific plant, a blue gentian.
This insect is facing numerous dangers, such as urbanisation, air and water pollution, fires... all destroying its habitat 😢
But thankfully this species is protected in several countries, like France 😄
